Mango Raita – This is probably one of the easiest recipes you can make. But it has such an amazing effect on your taste buds. In one bite you can taste sweet, tangy, salty, fruity, spicy and to top it all it is healthy.
In summers Raita makes up for one side dish. So you can get away with making just one dish like bhindi and serving it with Raita. That way you do not have to spend a lot of time in the hot kitchen. kids happy hubby happy and we mother double happy π
You can even have it as a snack at 12 or around 5 o clock when we are most likely to binge on something unhealthy. You can add some more fruits to it but Mango being the king of fruits is definitely the show stopper.
You can also puree mango to get that lovely color. I love the mango chunks in my raita that is why I have used mango pieces in this recipe. you can make this raita sweet also. In that case ditch salt, red chili powder, and cumin powder and in place of that add cardamom powder. You might have to increase sugar also in that case.
This looks so tempting I feel like grabbing a spoon right now and digging in π
