boiled chickpeas

medium onions chopped

small capsicum chopped
2
medium tomato chopped
remove the seeds
1
tsp
chopped green chilly
1
tbsp
chopped fresh coriander leaves
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt to taste
boiled chickpeas already have salt so add accordingly

Chaat masala

red chili powder

Instructions
Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl.
Keep in the fridge for 1-2 hours for all the flavors to blend in.
Your chickpea salad or chana chaat is ready.
Enjoy with your food or have it as a light filling lunch

Notes
Note: you have to wash and soak the chickpeas overnight or at least for 6-7 hours. Boil them with salt in a pressure cooker for 20-25 minutes till soft.
