Ingredients

  • 5 roti/chapatti/parantha
  • 2 onions sliced
  • 1 carrot thinly sliced
  • 1 capsicum sliced
  • 3-4 garlic finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chilly sauce
  • ½ tsp vinegar
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • ½ tsp soy sauce
  • salt to taste
  • ¼ tsp red chili powder
  • ¼ tsp chaat masala

Instructions

  • Slice all the vegetables.
  • Cut thin strips of roti to give it noodle shape.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Cook onions and garlic for 2-3 minutes in oil.
  • Add capsicum and carrots and cook for another 2-3 minutes on high heat stirring continuously.
  • Add all the sauces, salt, and chili powder, and chaat masala.
  • Add thin roti strips and give it a good mix so that the sauces coat the roti strips properly.
  • Roti Noodles are ready. Serve hot as an evening snack, breakfast, or even dinner.

Note:
1. Leftover Roti/ chapatti works better for this recipe than fresh ones.
2. You can add whatever vegetables your kids like to this recipe to make this more tempting and nutritious for them.
