Caramelized Makhane -makhane are very high in nutrition. These are a good bet for the evening snack. Kids love these for their crispiness and popcorn like taste. And we moms love these because of their nutritional value.
My kids love roasted makhane. We can make these with lots of ghee and very less ghee as per our preference. Because of their high nutrition, these are given to ladies after childbirth. The only problem that I have with this recipe is that these are finished too soon ๐
My son gave me 9/10 in this caramelized makhane. I asked him why I lost one mark. He said because caramel should have been more then I would have given you 11/10 ๐ You can increase the sugar butter quantity if you would also like these to be coated thickly with caramel.
So if you want you can increase caramel and coat makhane uniformly. Personally, I liked them like this. Not too sweet still very yummy.
