How to make chocolate-covered strawberries
preparation time- 5 minutes
cooking time- 2-3 minutes
Ingredients:
20-25 Strawberries
150 gms chocolate( I have used Morde dark compound)
For decorating strawberries:
crushed almonds
crushed pistachio
sugar-coated saunf/ fennel candy
sugar sprinkles
To make chocolate-covered strawberries
Wash the strawberries and dry them completely before melting chocolates.
I have used a double boiler method for melting chocolate. Fill half pan with water and bring it to boil.
Cover it with another pan or bowl. Water should not touch this bowl. Put chocolate pieces in it. Let it simmer on medium heat for 2 minutes. Keep stirring.
As I had taken my chocolate out of the freezer it took some time to melt. If your chocolate is at room temperature switch off the flame immediately.
Melted chocolate is ready.
shift it to some deep bowl or glass so that dipping is easy.
You can insert a toothpick in strawberry. It makes it easy to hold the strawberry without getting messy.
Twist it so that an excess chocolate will fall back in the glass.
Set it on a butter paper to cool down. Sprinkle whatever decorations you want to sprinkle on strawberries. It is better to sprinkle than roll the strawberries as chocolate is still not set properly.
Chocolate covered strawberries are ready to be enjoyed …..
